Educator
After a fruitful teaching experience in North Carolina, USA as Head of North Gaston High School’s World Languages Department, Milton is back in Bolivia, South America, where he heads the Preprimary and Primary levels at Saint George School. Mr. V, as his students call him, lectured at the 2019 International Conference Sustainable Development in New York, highlighting education to fully achieve the SDG’s agenda by 2030. He has also been appointed Contest Judge for NASA public contests. Milton championed both North Gaston High and Saint George’s becoming Global Schools (www.globalschoolsprogram.org). Both schools are the only schools in North Carolina and Bolivia to have achieved such distinction. At present, Milton is a Global Schools Program Mentor and Advocate for United States and Bolivian teachers Global Schools | Mentors (globalschoolsprogram.org) Currently, Milton is working on projects to bring the SDG’s, to every classroom using teachers as multipliers and schools as community centers of SDG training. His passion for astronomy is catapulting his plan to bring the SDG’s, to space, rarely visited, but crucial towards the near and far future of humanity.
